I’m a certified Korean teacher, born and raised in South Korea, with a deep passion for sharing my language and culture with others. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching over 300 students from all around the world.
Whether in the lively classrooms of language schools in London or through personalized lessons as an independent instructor, I've dedicated myself to helping students achieve their language goals. My approach to teaching is rooted in patience, creativity, and a genuine love for seeing my students succeed. The courses are designed for English speakers. Because English and Korean are very different languages, I explain things in English for most of the courses so that you can understand the main concepts more easily, and the transition to Korean smoother and easier to understand.
No previous knowledge of the language is required.
The beginner's courses are designed for those who are starting from scratch, which is why they start from the absolute basics. We'll start by learning the Korean alphabet, and even if you already know how to read it, this is a great chance to refine your pronunciation, discover useful tips, and practice through engaging exercises.

Building the Basics in Korean for Beginners
The A1 Beginner course lays the essential groundwork for newcomers to the Korean language. It begins with modules that introduce Hangul, the Korean alphabet, covering basic vowels, consonants, and essential pronunciation tips. This stage familiarizes students with the structure and sounds of Korean, empowering them to read simple words and phrases. By mastering these basics, learners develop a sense of confidence in their ability to approach the language independently. Foundational reading skills are further strengthened with practice exercises, providing a firm base for later vocabulary and conversation modules.
Moving Forward:
Developing Conversational Confidence in Korean for Advanced Beginners
The A2 Advanced Beginner course builds on the A1 foundation by enhancing conversational fluency and understanding of Korean grammar. Learners delve into more complex sentence structures, expanding on essential verbs and expressions from the previous level. With a focus on time, weather, and weekend plans, this course provides the tools for discussing personal experiences and future aspirations in greater depth. Modules also cover useful grammar forms for expressing desires, making suggestions, and talking about past events. By strengthening these skills, students gain the ability to share more about their lives, opening up new conversational opportunities in Korean.

The courses are divided into 32 sections, containing more than 236+ video lessons and 115+ exercises. I recommend watching the sessions in order, as the courses offer a sequential and logical learning path.
Remember that you can always go back and watch the lessons as often as needed.
All videos are in FULL HD and you can adjust the speed, audio and quality.
In all my videos, I try to use as many visual elements as possible, such as pictures, tables, and graphs. At the same time, you can also see me talking directly to you, making the lessons as engaging and entertaining as possible.
